If you want to win the hearts of others, if you want them to be convinced, not to be pushed to be Muslims, there’re certain steps to get in touch with them…
When we tell others about Islam, Allah, the Qur’an, or the Prophet (peace be upon him), we have to use Islamic sources. Our presentation or our da`wah should be based on sound and correct knowledge.
Part of this knowledge is to be aware of those whom we invite to Allah; the recipients, their backgrounds, their beliefs, lifestyle, etc.
There’re certain steps to get in touch with others about Islam if you want to win their hearts and if you want them to be convinced, not to be pushed to be Muslims.
Breaking the eyes…
What is the first impression do you make or that others can make about you? Do you respect them? Do you show your love and concern for them, and how? What type of attitude do you have towards them?
These are the first questions to ask yourself when you give da`wah.
Allah says:
Invite (all) to the Way of thy Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching; and argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious. (An-Nahl 16:125)
So, how could we open and win the hearts of others? How could we practically give a good first impression to others about Islam and about ourselves as Muslims? How could we be wise in reaching out to others about Islam?
